I was one of those lucky guys out there on the north end! The perch fishing seemed spotty but once you found some it stayed pretty steady. Perch are starting to size up from last year!

How thick is the ice there! Newton seems to ice up pretty fast. If safe, I would like to hit it this afternoon or tomorrow. If someone could tell me how thick it is and would like to tag along, I am open.

Cody and I are going to Mantua Wed the ice is thicker there then Newten. If you find out how thick Newton is let me know. Thegreat

Just a heads up for you warm water fishers, I drove past Newton yesterday and there were a few people up toward the North end fishing. Roads were plowed and in good condition but who knows now after this wind and snow!![crazy]
