# Newbie says Hi

Just wanted to say “hi” to everyone at BFT. I heard about BFT through Lunkerhunter2, and since I am new to fishing I decided to register and maybe learn a thing or two. I am not a die hard fisherman like some people, but I do enjoy it, even if I don’t catch a thing. I try to get out with LH2 as much as I can. So far I think my favorite to catch is bass and wipers. Trout are ok, but not the same fight as bass or wipers, but then I have never caught a trophy trout either. Good fishing to all!

Nice to have you here. I think you will be able to learn a lot from people on this board, as well as LH2, as he seems to get into fish all the time! Have fun, and catch some fish!

Welcome to the board .You want to catch some trophy you need to hit yuba in the fall. Lotsa big ones caught at that time and the fight in them equals a wiper.
