new tube

I’ll know better next week whether I’m gambling my daughters inheritance away that day or not. I’ll be in touch. Thanks guys!

Hey thats cool. Let us know when its complete!

well i made the plunge today into the world of tubing once again, i got the money for my trolling motor and stopped at sportsmans on my way to work and picked up my new fishcat 4, man it was a tough decision i almost bought one just like it but another brand.

sat at work tonight thinking of a name for my craft, my boat is called SWAMP YANKEE and was trying to do something a little different and i think i got it Whistlers Mother. after my dads 1941 plymouth

:sunglasses:Yeeeee Hawwwww. Now you’re committed. At least you should be.

When you get a chance, air up that new family member and measure the distance between the two D rings on the outside, under the pockets. They should be about 13" on center. I will need that info to fab your rod rack.

Looks like it is good we didn’t plan something for this Sunday. The weather forecrash ain’t good. Sloppy weather, wind and tubes are not good go-togethers. I cancelled on my trip with UtWalleye.

i need to see whats going on for monday, but i might throw it in the car and come down monday evening

:sunglasses:The weather is gonna be lousy on Monday anyway. Let me know in time to cancel my checker game with George W. and you’re on. PM me and I’ll get you the address and GPS coordinates.

i was trying to get it all put togeather and am having trouble getting both bottom seat cushions in is there a trick to it?

Hey Petty, The cushions go side to side. Someone else had this problem also. It may be necessary to trim a small amount of the foam to get them to fit perfectly. A very sharp knife, machete or a good band saw will be helpful. You want to keep the edges as straight and square as possible.

Good luck and get back to us if you are stil having problems.:sunglasses:

:sunglasses:Just bring it all with you tonight. I have two others with the foam seats already set up.

Don’t do any cutting. They are cut to fit already, if you do it right.

This ain’t like mechanics…“If it don’t fit, use a bigger hammer.”

that sounds good id hate to screw it up

besides im not a real mechanic i just play one on TV[;)]

well i went down to tubedudes house to get my tube all set up and it looks great, thanks pat

i had a hard time leaving he just has to many toys to play with

His little playground can be addicting. I always find it hard to leave.:sunglasses:

:sunglasses:Hey, Petty, was great to have you and Moose over for some tackle tinkerin’.

By the way, you comin’ along just fine in the accumulated toys. A few more years and a few more paychecks and you will be struttin’ yo stuff alla time.

:sunglasses:Ah so, Son san. Difference is that when you leave, my collection grow smaller while yours grow larger. Strange how those things work.

Well, we do keep it in the family:blush:[sly][sly]

pat will you adopt me???[;)][;)][;)][;)]

You are already halfway there. You are in the Outcast portion of the family with the FC4. I guess you will just have to learn how to catch big bass with a #20 hook and a cigarrett butt to be fully qualified.[sly]

boy am i a idiot. i thought i was muted when i wasnt logged in. haha.
