Right you are. I thought of that after I had put up my last post. I have been thinking about getting one for my “travelling rig”, just for the reasons we have been discussing. I know several folks who have them and have had to use them. They are good not only for your own vehicle but can help others who are stranded…if you do not want to use your own car battery to help start them. Always the potential for problems.

I read another review on the New Battery on the block where they really can’t say enough good things about it. It is all that and a bag of chips, hands down.
I did also read this paragraph that may help those that don’t have that kind of money for this battery:

AGM batteries main advantages are no maintenance, completely sealed against fumes, Hydrogen, or leakage, non-spilling even if they are broken, and can survive most freezes. Not everyone needs these features.”
