Well that’s a great offer and I have heard a lot about those long range trips both here, down at the California Board, other boards around the place, and from anglers who I know elsewhere.
They sound like they would be fun, but first and foremost I need to close off the competition here at the end of the month without anybody feeling like they have seriously missed out or been hard done by once I announce the winners.
Then it’s off on the much needed holiday. Afer that, I will be in a much better position to think about next year and if I make it across the pacific for the tackle show, then we should probably get together and have a chat about that.
Jeff, Dan and any other anglers from the BFT Boards, including posters from here might like to be a part of that gathering as well.
In the mean time, I am happy to talk on some more about long range trips and find out more about them. Always happy to learn something new about fishing in different parts of the world.

Well Hara and Jeff, what do think is the go for a LR fishing trip?
Working real on getting over for the Fred Ho Show so how many days are we talking about here for a trip? Better put me in the picture so I can plan towards that if things keep going to plan.
Also, what is the cost? Need to slide that into the travel budget as well.
Just as well neither of your names are not Dan is all I can say. Any more Dan’s and this board is going to take some serious concentration let me tell ya!.
