you cut a lot of 3 pounds suckers of the soldier Creekside this weekend i have olny got them suckers on the strawberry side so far
My wife caught brown trout in strawberry before she and I have ever met, and I have landed several from a tube, but only ever on a fly for me.
I know they are in there and it seems that when you find them, you cant several (2-3) in the same spot, go back the same spot and no browns later ![]()
I would say on average I don’t catch a brown out of strawberry most years, but I do seem to run into them from time to time.
Are suckers native to strawberry? Fished there since a baby and I haven’t ever caught a sucker or even chub.
Times are a changing, I bet you can now.
Well it wouldn’t be my preference catch having driven close to 2 hours to get there but I guess fish is better than no fish and they could be used as bait [:P]. Would worms get them and are they in shallow or deep water or does it not really matter?
