Does anyone know where’s the best bet to get/catch mackerel for bait in the San Diego area? I heard some guy was supposed to be selling macks at the Mission Bay bait barge, but I haven’t seen him.
I will try to get a hold of Mike Hodgdon and Milo McConville.
Mackarel is there target species and they are usually on the Mack bite when it goes wide open.
They are probably fishing now.
