Dude, count me in for the Gorilla Floatilla on the 19th! That’s gonna be a blast, even if I get skunked, although, with a full moon out, I think even I will get a channel or two for a nice fish fry. Even if I get skunked, it will be a lot of fun being out there with the gang!

Man! Sounds like you guys had a good time down there! I wanted to make it, but I had work. Just the same as I’ll have work this entire week, and all next weekend, up to the wednesday after. Then it’s off to Oregon for a couple weeks. If only I didn’t need the money… I’m marking off my calendar for the next one, though. I don’t know if I’ll have the $$ for gas after Oregon, but I’ll try to scrape it together. Having a ford f250 v10 sucks!
Heck no. No reason at all you couldn’t. They let me show up - they’ll let anyone. I think the only requirement is that you have to like something about fishing.

Here are some photos of U-boats on TubeDude’s board. I hope the link works. Scroll down a ways, the U-boats are the on semi-circle ones as opposed to the completely round(donut) shaped ones.
I think the idea at this point is to open the event up to all who wanna show up…bankers, boaters, tubers, tooners or any other kinda “assault” craft.
Also part of the plan is to have a meetup and review session before the big launch, in order to demo different baits and rigs, etc. There will be plenty of writeups made available in advance too, and some pictorial stuff.
In short, we would love to have ya join us.

Hey Frank, so how’d the tube work out? I noticed from the pictures that I forgot to mention one thing: There is a second smaller tube in the backrest that you are supposed to air up a ways too. In fact, the original tube instructions said to never use the tube without inflating the backrest for safety reasons! Whoops, glad you didn’t get tipped over by a Lincoln Beach wind gust!! lol Anyway, it’s probably more comfortable because you’d have a backrest to lean up against.

That model works okay for rafts of carp, but for the really bigguns, CP uses his RPG launcher. He always “carries” when he goes fishing.
