Dude my kids are there bro… Daughters are 5,7 and my son is 9 now… He watches YouTube everyday all the fishing videos and then last night told my wife he watches them so he can be the Best fisherman ever!! Hehe kids…[:P] btw your avatar looks nothing like you man I knew the name but was like is it?? Nah… Lol. Btw what’s up with the bucket of instant ocean dropping that striper back in saltwater??? Prolly eat your whole reef tank.. Lmao!!!

Woohoo. I like spaghetti!

Lmao!!! Yeah I realized that Sunday… To funny man to funny…[sly]

lolololol

Kids put on the heat last night again!!! Went out to hemmingway around 5 or so and stayed till 10 last night… Another 20 or 30 dinks… Small mouth, stripers and my first time seeing blue gills… They caught so many I didn’t really get to fish..:(. Don’t think I missed much thou not a single person caught a thing besides my kids pulling them all night lol… A few pics… Tonight I’m going to find deeper water thinking about trying kingman wash never fished there…

:sunglasses: good on you again bro. kids love catching fish, its always about quantity not quality with kiddos, if you want some deeper water check out government wash or crawdad cove, there are some deep holes there too probly deeper now with the rising water and all. good luck where ever u may end up and keep them kids fishing. [fishon]

Oh side note: those are green sunfish I got excited when u said blugill, cause I’m yet to see any bluegills come out of the lake but I see ppl talkin about them all the time. yours were definitely green sunny’s [:)]

My bad lol… I thought they looked a little different… Every thing was there but a light blue streak by the gill… Really hard to see at night also… I thought maybe they were still to young and hadn’t developed it… They were fun regardless!!! Lol.. Then I guess no blue gill from the lake for me yet… I caught a big black crappie long ago by boulder basin on a rainy night… Ill have my chance for a big boy in 2 weeks I got a boat rented for willow my heavy tackle ready just waiting on some ac plugs and I’m set!!! Just bought a Abu Garcia 6500 c4 reel it’s awesome and holds plenty of string got it spun with 20lb fluorocarbon and a 7’ rod..[bobwink] now I just got to get used to bait casters… I fished with it all day yesterday with out a single problem until it got dark then I had a birdsnest since I couldn’t see the lure hitting the water..:frowning:

So far so good…sitting at kingman wash right now.. Shallow water is producing small mouth, small stripers, and blue gill yes we officially got a blue gill… Deep water is producing nice big cats.. My son got his first big cat scared the crap out of him ahahahahah dad help dad help lmao!!! Got a nice 3lb cat around 4pm… Pics to come tomorrow.. right now were in deep water looking for the big stripers… Hopefully they roll through!!! It’s quiet, pitch black and zero wind lakes like glass ATM…[fishon]

:sunglasses: ok now I’m gettin jealous LOL I havent been fishing at the lake since may. I’m jonesin BAD, I’ve never been to kingman wash maybe its time to make a trip out there after I make the repairs to my truck, need a catalytic converter, and an ignition switch. a week and a half hopefully they will be fixed. post up them pix keep up the good fishin!!! [fishon]

Man ole man what a weekend… We left kingman wash early this morning about 5 am after winds and rain about blew us out of the tent into the water… Night fishing was okay mostly dinks and larger cats but we switched it up trying to nab some stripers… No go man there hella tricky now… Times have changed man big time, we left kingman headed to hemmingway Pier didn’t get squat hit every shore to boxcar got stuck in the soft sand there scared the little ones haha!!! Left there and went to nelsons landing for my first time… Man that place is way cool!!! I can’t believe living here 35yrs I never been there… Didn’t get to fish just went sight seeing and watching the nuts jump from huge cliffs!!! Anyways here is some pics of kingman for the day… My sons first real fish!!! ā€œdad help scared helpless on his little light weight zebco special haha!ā€ also there were hundreds of big horn sheep that was a site in it’s self they get really close with zero fear…

If this is a sunfish also I’m confused haha!!! It has the blue streaks on the gills…

Thanks for the report man!

I’m a little curious about what you did with that smallmouth bass…

All fish were returned the lake man we don’t eat them…;). A few of those tiny guys don’t make it but the majority do..ā€œpending they don’t swallow the hookā€ why do you ask??? I have always supported c&r my entire life…[fishon]

Btw what’s the deal with those guys now??? I never pulled one in my younger years of fishing lake mead and my son pulls 2 or 3 every time we go on a worm lol.., he has caught more bass then me lmao!!! It wouldn’t be funny but the kid just started fishing 3 weeks ago…

…he has caught more bass then me lmao!!! It wouldn’t be funny but the kid just started fishing 3 weeks ago…

LOL!! gotta love it!! I always out fished my dad growing up, its part of what kept me so interested in fishing for so many years, how bad am I gonna out fish dad this time LOL good for him. as far as the smallies go I think they are pretty new to the system, but doing very well from what I have heard. I’ve seen some nice ones caught out there. lots of crayfish for them to eat also, red crayfish are also an introduced species for another source of food and also flourishing. I ate me a nice crawdad snack last year just by walking along the shallows and pickin them up tasty little buggers they are LOL [fishon]

Nice Report, looks like fun.

Went to hemmingway pier this morning hit the water about 5am first cast with in 3 minutes hooked a 12" striper on shrimp… Thought it was gonna be a good day after that.. Ha!!! Not a single bite after that seems like we just missed the fish by minutes damn it!!! Oh well… Hopefully next weekend we slaughter a pig down on the river I’ll keep ya posted…[:/]

Don’t give up man, persistence pays off down there.

Nah we never quit haha!!! Just kind of discouraging seeing the water crystal clear and it’s only 10ft deep where you cast haha… Hoping to get my quad sold now that riding season is around the corner and pick up a boat… I really wanted to hit hole 33 since it was just me and my son but I forgot a flash light and there was no way we could hike it in the dark"never been down there" I hear stories of big boys coming off that pier but I won’t believe them till I see it… We have seen and pulled some decent cats there but no bass besides dinks… I can’t say it was a loss I was pulling in all the broken lines around the pier and stocking my tackle box haha.. Got a couple nice lures, weights, etc… Even a feisty little craw dad he was ticked lol… Well see how the river plays out this weekend… Stopped by laker plaza to grab some ac plugs but they were out… Supposedly Allan is gonna swing by today or tomorrow and refill there stock.. Also releasing his new magnum 15" ā€œdeezamā€ lol
