**North marina is still closed but the south is open. Just getting into a great time for whackin’ wipers along the rocks with feathery goodies. They go into their “false spawn” mode for the next few weeks and schools of them cruise along the rocks. They act just like big white bass.

**That “mantra” seems to work for her. She has caught plenty of bigguns over the years…and often after she has repeated that statement…or something similar.
My secret is always taking a peanut butter and honey sandwich…on wheat bread. Whenever it has been a while since my last inquiry I open the ziplock baggie and take a bite of the sandwich. Amazing how many times my rod(s) get busy at that exact same moment. Guys who fish with me will verify how well it works for me. (Almost as good as trying to “download” some used coffee…or being right in the middle of tying a tricky knot on another rig)
If you use the sandwich tactic there are a couple of things you have to remember. First is to wash your hands after baiting a hook or handling a catfish…before handling your sammich. Second is to concentrate on rebagging your sammich and putting it in a safe place before grabbing the rod. Failure to give proper attention and respect to your edibles can render them inedible…and test your gag reflexes.

Yeah I just had to give u a hard time [:P]. I definetly hope my body holds up and I can still fish at your age. I’m defying logic and holding up good with the condition I have but we’ll see when I’m older.
Oh and yeah Soccer Fishing sounds sweet :). It’d also be a good workout if maybe you were allowed to hold you pole with your hand but had to real the fish in with your toe lol.
