\*\*Ok , I just wanted to share this with you all. This picture is of my brother with a very nice Striper. It is 40lbs and is 46 inches in length. Boy that be a gooooodin’ Dan! Their few and far between but I think theres still a few like that, and larger, in the pond crossing our south boarder. Thanks for sharing the pic. ---

that is an awsome fish! i would love to catch a striper over 10lbs! i have only caught stripers under 10lbs at lake powell. joe ---

Nice fish!!! Does your brother call them Rockfish? My inlaws in Maryland do. Maryland state record is 67.8 lbs. I’ve always wanted to take a trip back east when the Rockfish and Bluefish were around. I’m usually there around Christmas, but by then they’re hard to come by. We mostly catch Spot, Croaker, and a few Speckled Trout around Christmas. ---

Looks like some GREAT fish! Thanks for sharing. There are stripers in Powell that are bigger than that though. Just not a lot of people catching them. Last summer some dude weighed and measured one they found floating that would have been a new world record had it actually been caught fishing. ---

Thats a nice fish, although i wouldnt mind any of those lying at his feet either. i wish we had some fish with some size around here.
