I’m guilty as well, I have been to Echo, East canyon, and Deer Creek last month focusing on smallies. Trying some new to me tactics with the water levels being what they are I figured I would try something different. Some work some are just not for me. Echo was a OK bite lots of little one to wade through but did get some 15/16 inches. Tons of perch which look pretty cool on live scope the sheer numbers are big difference compared traditional sonar.
Deer Creek is a joke to try to fish in the summer months and I’ll leave it at that. Tons of dink Small mouths one 14/15" largemouth a walleye and a blue gill.
East canyon was OK did manage a few decent bass but no wipers I have seen a few pictures they are getting big. We just couldn’t locate them.
I’m hoping to get out to willard this weekend and look for boils in the evening.
