I have never jug fished before and would like to start. Does anyone have any tips about what bait to use,line,depth,jugs. I am going to fish on the Tombigbee waterway.

well it all depends on depth of the water and where ya place the jug. usually what ive done is gone out to the channel and tied a brick to the jug and let brick sink. but i have another line attached to middle of the main line and i let it sit over night, come back in the morning, and ya might have a cat depending on what kinda bait ya use.
