Hit the water about 5pm at the Hailstone boat launch. There were three boats on the water and one left as I arrived. They said they used something like a swimbait and had mild success and had lost their dodger setup.
Water was about 54 degrees and I didn’t mark any fish near shore. Most of them were nearer to the middle of the open water between 20-40 feet down. I tried a dodger with hoochie, dodger with worm harness trolling between 1-1.5mph. After not catching anything I switched to a white tube jig and worm casting and jigging.

While I didn’t catch anything or have any bites, the sunset was amazing and when the moon poped over the mountants it was lovely. Wish there was a bit less wind, but enjoyed my time. Exited the water at 8pm. Wishing the rest of you all good luck out there.

I was on Jordy this morning, first boat. Difficult launch as the wedge dock was almost underwater and to use the courtesy docks you had to wade to access. Fished north with koke gear (dodgers and squid). Caught multiple bows and some kokes. All fish returned. The bows are considerably larger at DC.

That’s too bad you had no luck, were you using down riggers or fishing just under the surface?

With all the rain, the water level must have been raising. How long were those average bows you were catching John.

Today’s Jordy bows were mostly 15" and under. The bows on DC were 16 to 18" and much fatter.
