Seaguar Invis X is hands down the best I’ve used. Its really limp and works great on spinning reels. There are a lot of junk lines out there and lots of lines with too much of a wirey effect to them. Invis X is virtually invisible and it stretches less than mono.
If your fishing any type of cover, you’ll most likely get schooled by a big bass with 4lb test. Big bass love to wrap you up in and type of cover they can find. At that point you have two choices, let him take you into the cover and go in after him, been there done that, not my choice. I prefer to turn the fish and keep him out of the cover. This is where line strength come to the test. A big bass will break you every time if your line is weak and you try to turn him.
Now in open water you can catch most fish on any lb. test.
I dont know how much I trust Fluro anymore, everytime I try and spool it on I friggin twist it up becuase I dont pull tight enough and I dunno, I just have terrible experience with it. It seems like such an awesome product though, any tips by PM would be awesome for spooling fluro would be great, I dunno why I’m having trouble.
