I don’t know about pet stpres being any cheaper,I sure get alot of pet owners coming to see me in the winter.

I usually buy my mealworms online for about $9 a thousand, plus $3 to $5 for shipping. Each worm runs me about 1.5 cents. I pack them around in the same cups I bought years ago. I prefer the larger 75 mealworm cups but if I have a couple of the smaller 25 worm cups I bring atleast 2. Keeping the worms alive is easy with a plastic ice cream bucket and some ground wheat and a slice of patato for a water source.

Would scenting your nightcrawlers work the same way?

Where do you buy meal worms on line at? Im tired of running allover town trying to find them only to find out there sold out. Thanks for the idea and info on where to get them.

Kokanee,

I’ve always found a healthy supply of mealworms at my local PetsMart. They keep their fridges full of them for feed to exotic pet owners.

Bring on the ice!!

This is the company I buy from but I’m sure you could find a dealer in the Salt Lake area. I buy from them because of a couple reasons. They guarantee a live shipment. They are close and fast with the orders. Last year the shipping cost almost doubled since everything living had to be shipped express or air. They have everything you would ever want or not want.

There are no fish in Woodruff. HFT is just fooling with you. Nothing to see here, please move along. P.S. There is also no trout in Echo.

Tried Ice fishing this morning!!![:)][:)][:)]

Auger would not fit past the edges of the dogs bowl.

Ice was 2-1/2" thick.

Don’t forget - meal (not mill, mull, moll, etc.) worms are the crunchy red ones that sometimes gnaw on your finger and wax worms are the cute little squishy white ones!!! I can’t believe the number of people that mess that up! Also - does everyone carry scales with them to weigh fish? Some posts have, with my slight exageration, fishing results that say “I caught one 19” 2.76lb cutt and 3 20" 2.23, 2.34 and 3.11 lb. rainbows." Godfrey, do they have scientific scales with their boats/float tubes!? All I have is a rusty, split-in-half-lengthwise measuring tape.[unsure]

tape measures and scales are for guys who don’t know how to fib.[:)]

I got a cute little combo from the Perch Party in July that weights and measures the little fishies I catch!
