ice fishing bibs suggestions

I can agree that this seems abnormal for your character. At no point did I complain about cold and wet. I simply gave my suggestion to the post.

After dumping what seemed as gallons of water from my boots, they too stayed home. Snowboard boots suck for ice fishing. I changed to lighter less water absorbing things. I adapted to put the percentages in my favor! I raise by beverage to another fifteen year of being dry. I hope the same to you. The bibs weighted over sixty pounds, that was more then a third of my body weight.

Adapt, or ice fish with people that are heavy than you!!! I want to keep on fishing, so I adapted.

Thanks, for your simple wisdom. To heavy to get out equals death.

Thanks again,
icesore

I’ve tried several different options. I would recommend against the insulated coveralls. You will regret it the first time you get in hurry and kneel down to land a fish. Your knee will be wet the rest of the day. I currently use the Walmart special ski bibs. They do a good job unless you are kneeling in slush a lot. The aren’t waterproof, but do the job most of the time.
