As RR pointed out this is a ten year old thread. Don’t waste your time trying to catch bass on the ponds. It winter killed a couple years ago. I have yet to see anything other than carp for the last two years. The last I heard the DWR was not going to stock it again. One of the ponds out there had some nice crappie in it. Never ate anything out of there but had some fun on the fly rod.
Your best bet for a record will at any of the reservoirs in the St George area.

Hey scartinez didnt you catch the bass in your avatar in utah lake? I swear i remember your post a year or two ago when you caught it, the back ground looks like u/l but i havent fished any lakes in the st george area neither, what did that pig weigh? And yeah basslovetrout it was a pig mac my biggest and was 40 pounds, i didnt get one bite that day from 7- 12 then switched tactics and caught 5 over 20lbs" in 2hrs that was the best day on the lake so far for me

I did catch that bass out of UL. I didn’t have my scale with me at the time, but I would guesstimate 6.5-7 lbs. Biggest one for me out of UL.
2 weeks ago drove by there and there was a raft with 6 people fishing.The pond just west of the rest area,I didnt see if they caught anything.
