They have that othere model of the Norcross that has that loose cord and a bell that goes out in the water. I’ve read some reviews that said that it is hard to keep the unit upright while out on the water. That model is made more for a dock or pier fisherman that will hang it straight down from the surface.
that looks like a good idea pat. i think i could modify that to sit on one pontoon. i would like it to sit on one side or the either. and could put a transducer holder through the middle to boot. i was thinking of the same thing but its nice to see a finished product there to help me in my final visualization of it.
