Thanks Curt. I was wondering if you had fished the sades this week. The bay at big elk on the main lake was frozen last weekend but looked sketchy to me. It may be good now.

Sorry curt and ovid, im not ignoring you guys. Fishing has been pretty tough at the sades this year. I have caught fish at big elk, little elk, blowout, indian creek, and in alpine but not in great numbers. The dam is usually pretty good but the wind has been howling there every morning I stop so i keep on driving up the lake. The ice is wonderful right now. No slush. 12 to 16 inches in most spots. Perfect for a snow machine or a 4 wheeler. Edge is solid too. Our best fishing was across the lake from the elk refuge in alpine. The chub came from indian creek sunday along with 6 cutts.
