Heads or Tails at Willard 4-15-10

I am happy to see that fishing at Willard is getting better. However, it is really hard to tell because you catch fish when other people are being “skunked.” However, it does seem a little early for “planer boards” at Willard.

I was studying your pictures, as I usually do, when I noticed what appears to be two small beads on the hook you used with the tail portion of the minnow. Are they beads, floats, or a two-headed jig? It looks like you may not be using a single hook on the minnow.

Sorry about your trouble with the fishermen trolling from the boats. It’s too bad that some people are so inconsiderate of other people.

I love reading your informative posts!

:sunglasses:Count on Lloyd to zoom in on something I did not mention…my “bling rig”. I sometimes add a couple of beads ahead of the hook to add a bit of color. It is intended to attract walleyes but catfish are silly and don’t read the directions.

PS…I always use single hooks for catfish.
