Sounds good TD. I am off work monday morning so Ill let you know when i can swind out to teh tubeatorium. Meanwhile, here are pictures of my sonar and mount. I like the way I have the transducers, the mount of the FF itself I dont like.
I’m going to try and remount my transducer tomorrow with the use of that clamp. I will post pics after I do so you can check them out as well.
Throw some pics up. Id like to see how you do it. The post above has pictures on how I mounted the transducers. I didnt like the way I did it at first. It was too hard to attach them. Hard to explain too.
I’m guessing you would like the display mounted somewhere more forward on the left pontoon, for easier viewing.
I gots an idea for a combined display and 'ducer mount…with a lot less PVC than you are using at present.
If you have a mounting bracket for the display…that I can’t see in your pics…be sure to bring it.
I like where I have it but I just want to angle it a little more so I can see it better. A lot less PVC sounds good to me.

I never thought of it that way. I havent had the chance to take it out yet. I tried to check it out on monday at Bountiful Lake but the wind was blowing too hard.
I don’t notice it on my H3, but my toon I did.
It s easier to lift up and down on the side, but I mounted mine on the back about an inch above level ground. It ends up in the water about 4 inches. maybe a little more with me and the battery/motor.
I can pull it out of the water and not worry about lifting it up.
In other words, it is always down. The motor however, is a different story…LOL
