I thought I'd try for some bass this morning as the crappie were too deep for my short line.\<br /\>I fished a frog some grass without any bites but continued to throw it off and on during the morning. I fished the rest of the time with a t-rig black or watermelon worm. To make a long sad story short the day was 4 1/2 hrs of hard chunkin' and winding with 2 bass to show for it, 1 2lb lm and 1 small spot. About 11:30 it was too hot for me so I went in for a much needed nap. The lm was caught on a frog in 2 fow and the spot on a worm in 6-7 fow. Water temps nearing 90 degress today, just "dog days of summer" I guess. Better days are ahead. It STILL was a great day to be on the water. emoGeezer emoUSA
