Hey, someone tried that one on me too last year at the berry… Come to think of it it was you Petty and Polokid…
once at the berry a buddy and i were in the ice house i had to releive my self so i exitted the hut. while i was out side this clown decides to take a peace of fishing line and run it down his hole around my line and back to his hand. i come back in and he is looking down the hole saying fish are moving threw. as i sit down bang i get hit. set and miss drop back bang set miss again. dang guy this went on for about five or 6 bites. then i realed up and bait was still on the jig. puzzled i drop back and bang. this time i saw his hand twitch and smack his hat off.
We saw some windy shenanigans at the Evanston Ice Derby one year. Most who have fished there often enough know to stake down yourself and belongings before the big blow starts. There was one poor soul in the porta-john that took quite a beating before the outhouse came to rest on top of an unoccupied tent. And to say the least, he came out of there rather – messy. Those things have holding tanks …
And there was several groups running after shelters and tents that were scooting along at 40+ mph.
Funny, but only in James’ devious definition of the term.
I should have looked closer and realized it was a small bore squirl gun. Does it also double as your ice auger in the winter ?
Definately FUNNY! I would have loved to see a blue man walking on the ice!!! lol![sly]
