Flotilla Saturday May 6 Willard Bay

Great - looks like Eagle Beach Pavilion is one everyone prefers. So that’ll b the plan.

Thanks

Hey Forest,
Sorry I missed you at the Flotilla, thought I seen you on the pond, but that’s a hard spot to visit when you’re trying to find some fish and they don’t want to bite… Well, we’ll see ya on another visit to the bay… Thanks for showing anyway even if you didn’t get to join in with the good vittles… Later J

Jeff,
The wife and I had really been looking forward to last Saturday. She wanted to meet more of the crowd that has been keeping me out on the water so much the past year. But her job, my pink eye, and a lot of nasty bugs, wind, and a whole family of skunks that have taken up living in my boat so far this year, and we decided to call it a day a bit early. The majority vote for changing to Eagle Beach next year sounds like a good idea to. We will plan to be there. And maybe this time just a bit more warning so she can schedule that day off? [sly]

Thanks Pat. Eye is better. And I’ve heard that “hole in the water” comparison for many years also. But was mostly in reference to how irreplaceable someone may be in a military unit. But no matter the circumstance, it’s pretty true in most things.

Yes, I do want to get in at least one trip down to your local “pond” (UL) seein as you have graced us northerners with you presence up at Willard a few times already this year. If I can just get work, health, and the weather to all cooperate at the same time…[:/]

Wife likes UL. She has caught her biggest fish there.

Forest it seems like that first weekend in May is a pretty good time to do this thing. We’ll try and get it on the calendar earlier next year. I about missed it this year. The weather and all didn’t seem like we would find a good day, but it ended up ok. I’ll bet the skunks will depart soon. Good luck. J

I am bummed I missed it this year, i had to take my truck into the shop for warranty work. Would of rather been fishing.

Yes we missed you, it was a good visit time but the fishing wasn’t the best. Hope next time we’ll pick a better time for you to make it. Always fun to learn from the rest of the BFT crew. We had a lot of new folks join the flotilla, not new to BFT, but new to the event and it was good to meet them. I’d talked with Old Coot for years but this was the first time I met him. So I hope you can join us next time. Later Jeff

After Christmas Smith’s puts all there gift wrap on sale for a $1.00 a roll, it makes great table clothes (white side up or santa and his deer if you like color)
A roll of duct tape and you have clean tables and fast cleanup.
One roll can cover 2 or 3 tables.
Sounds like it was a good time good fun.
For sure going to try to do it next year.
