Tied in Ogden…all of them? I know even at Orvis, we bought the mass of our flies, but we did tie specialty flies ourself, but like I said, the mass of flies were from overseas.
Some flies are a little tuff to pump out dozen at a time for anybody.
from my undersatanding yes. I talked to the manger of the hardware dept. out of curiosty. He told me there are two or three guys that are related to each other some way or another that do it. They order the flies about once a month or so. They also dont have the hugest slection either about 30 patterns, in 2-3 sizes. Most people also dont go to wansgards to buy flies either so i dont think they have to much demand on them to keep up. In any case just reporting what i was informed and at .79 a fly cant really go wrong on store bought. By the way fly goddess I know you like to fish in idaho alot, steel head will be showing up near chalis soon get up there if possible that is a great time
