i have a few veritas rods and many vendettas. if you check any reviews for the veritas, alot of the reviews were about the upper 1/3 snapping ALOT. i was skeptical but bought 3 anyways. 2 snapped right where everyone said they would. sent them to abu garcia and they sent me new ones. havent had any issues since but the vendetta has nothing but good reviews. and plfueger makes good rods also.
