tryed my pole on walled lake today, dug my hole through about 18 inches of ice and fished from 3.30 to sundown.
I pulled up half dozen gills and one perch. The gills and perch were small to say the least. they might have reached 3 inches in lenth if I steped on them and squashed them flat.
I didnt, they went back in to the hole.
was nice to get out for some fresh air, and spend some time dipping ice out of my hole.
