Fishing Academy Report

The latest Fishing Academy trip was on the Eldorado out of Long Beach Sportfishing Berth 55. We fished San Clemente Island for what would normally be considered a slow day. It was a very bumpy ride over due to the wind. The day started out cold and windy but warmed to a really beautiful day. We had wide open Calico fishing (about 50% legals), and all sorts of assorted Yellowtail, Perch, Barracuda, Halibut, Cabizon, etc. All in all it was another GREAT TRIP</font color=red> enjoyed by all! The jackpot was won by a big Barracuda. Steve Fukuto donated 4 overnight trips on the Eldorado that were given away by random drawing. Thanks Steve!

The next Fishing Academy trip is a two day on the Champ July 3rd, call (619)225-8969 for reservations. The cost for the trip is only $399, including all food and snacks. This should be a really nice trip with lots of Albacore. Don Baker of Kicker Jigs just returned from a 3 day where he said they caught Albacore over 35 pounds. NICE FISH!</font color=red>

The new Fishing Academy shirts from BOOYAA with the big Tuna on the back looked really GREAT.
