I may go with a lowrance elite 5 and no even go with the down imaging…seems to me you sacrifice sonar range and width to get the DI so whats really more important? Seeing picture like detail of bottom structure? Or marking fish and thermoclines at any depth…Im thinkin soanr for fish locating is more important…
I don’t know about the Elite 5, but a friend of mine bought the X67c ice machine this winter and I was very impressed. I believe the X67c is similar to the Elite 5.
