Went to Echo today. I stopped counting the trucks when I got to 50. There must have been 150 plus people on the ice today. Saw one quad leaving the ice about 1 PM with now problems. The edges are rock solid and should remain so for the foreseeable future.

I measured the ice thickness with a tape measure and found it to be 6 1/2" thick. I’ll be using my snowmobile from the parking lot at the top of the ramp for all my future trips there.

The fishing sucked; 2 of us caught 4 keeper perch and three planter rainbows for 5 hours of fishing in 27 FOW due west of the ramp about 150 yards.
