**No fishing reports this week…yet. But getting ready to join Geezer for a trip on Utah Lake this morning. May or may not put up a report…especially if I keep a big fish.
The weather keeps changing and I plan my trips around it. I can handle cold, snow and rain but not wind. Wind makes it too difficult to hold position in a float tube. Plus, I fish mostly light gear and finesse techniques. When the wind doesn’t allow that then I ain’t fishing.
I fish for enjoyment…not endurance.

Maybe that was my problem yesterday morning — there was a pretty decent wind blowing me constantly out of the fishing hole and I couldn’t get my stuff to go straight down… it was always bouncing across the bottom and even sitting my lines would pull at about a 45 degree angle.
FG – that toon looks awesome. Good luck with it! I’m going to be “in the market” … at the end of the season for some sort of frameless pontoon to replace my Tube and Toon combination.
That one is on the list.
