I have watched Dan for a number of years and yes winced!
He’s all we’ve got for local southern cal fishing on a weekly basis. Just be happy he’s not syndicated country-wide as representing the regular, trip every-week so cal saltwater angler!
You’re right about the license. But that’s another issue all togeather! My beef is what the broadcast on one show where this deckhand was showing the audience how to clip a rattlesnake. It would be pretty tough to justify such treatment of a live fish to the animal rights people or small children.
