I’m heading there for bass on the Lake, and trout in the river.
Its worth the drive, and you’ll love the scenery.
Anyone else have + comments about the area??
When the fish aren’t biting on the lake, pull out the flyrod and wade for trout..
Lake was very warm (~85 degrtees), and the fish were very deep. I did manage a few on slip bobbers with live bait.
Flyfishing on the White River was excellent.
We caught >20 on scud/sowbug patterns.
If you’re heading near the Ozarks, its worth the trip!
