I hear you very well. I like to fish for macks, or I guess pups below 28 inches. They taste great when cooked up over a propane grill. I have found that trolling with a 3-way swivel and kwikfish or flatfish, and alos some spoons and spinners is my most consistent way of catching them. I am still in the beginning, when it comes to jigging for huge macks. The biggest one I have pulled out this way was 22 lbs.
