Hey Guys,
Went down to my marina and found a nice hole(2"x5") behind the rub rail in the front.I wish these "CAPTINS"WOULD TAKE DOCKING LESONS!!
I can’t get behind it,so the repair would be from the outside only,it’s between the hull and inerliner so there is space in back of it!Also I don’t mind if the repair is visable because i’m putting on a new wider rub rail around the whole boat.
So anybody know of good products to use for this.

How’s the repair job going?

Hey Steve,
I’m giving it a shot this weekend,Still trying to figure out the best way to do it.
The good news is the “CAPTAIN” left word with the marina that he’ll pay,as long as they keep him anonyous.
I’ll let you know it goes, thanks

No worries Tim
Well, at least the person was able to to put their hand up and say hey, that was me and I’ll fix it by paying for the repair.
I have not had much to do with (glass) boat repairs so I cannot comment much on the best way to go about it. Others here might, although you may have it sussed (worked out) by now too.
Either way, and from what you descibe, it sounds tricky because of it’s location and being difficult to get at.
Have you checked out any of the local repairer’s at the marina for ideas?
