I would like to car pool with 3 other folks from the Ogden area and stop in Springville for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel restaurant and still be at Yuba at 8:00 AM.
That means meeting someplace in Ogden and starting south at about 5:00 AM.
I will be driving my full size extended cab long bed truck and I’ll be pulling a trailer with a quad and ice shelter on it. Lots of room in the truck bed and a little more on the trailer for your gear. Are there any takers?

Car pooling info: It’s about 300 miles roundtrip from Roy to Painted Rocks campground on Yuba Reservoir. My truck gets about 12 mpg at about $3.00 per gallon. So the approximate cost would be for about 25 gallons of gas which is about $75.00. Divide that by 2, 3, or 4 people sharing the cost and you have $37.50, $25.00, or $18.75.
I’m guessing the fishing and eating would be over with at Noon or 1:00 PM at the latest. The drive back would take about 2 ½ hours, so we’d be back in the Ogden area no later than 3:30.
