Bear River Cats Again and Personal Best

:sunglasses:The problem is that catfish don’t got scales and can’t weigh their own selves.

Many home bathroom type scales are quite accurate and will indeed reflect a fairly close actual weight differential. The problem is the PERCENTAGE OF ERROR factor. A 10% margin of error on a 10 pound fish would only put you one pound off. But a 10 % error on 200 pounds would be much greater. On most home scales you can weigh the same package 3 different times and get three different readings.

That’s why it requires “certified” scales to qualify for any kind of weight record.

You gotta quit buying your scales from Wally World :sunglasses:
Mine is not expensive and dead on 99.9% of the time.

:sunglasses:Yeah, but you are just a tiny little thing. You can get by with postage scales. I gotta go down to the feed store and use the loading dock scales.

Now you done it…COFFEE ALL OVER THE SCREEN!

:sunglasses:Serves ya right for hijacking DDG’s catfish thread.

Sorry, Bro.

Why is it when I question someones fish you get your panties in a knot but it’s ok for you to do it? No need to respond, just another observation…
