Ok now that it has been a week or so, how is the fly holding up for ya? I curious as to how the fish like it. Have wanted to use it but I am not outfitted for bass right now other than with the spinning and casting stuff. :sunglasses:

I’d like to see frogs or a mouse even…I’m looking for something bigger, anyway to get that nice kicking action on frog some plastic?Thanks..Always tie your own knots…Paulpro..

Visit the plastics section of your local bait and tackle shop. The bass plastics should have something that will act like frogs. Usually a double tail jig or something similar.

Here is a simple MOUSE that has proved itself many a time…simple Muskrat, Foam and Chenille or shammy tail

Frog, Foam and rubber legs

I won’t lie, I prefer my Powell bait casting rods to my Sage that is collecting dust. However, I am very impressed by the pictures of the perch/pumpkinseed flies. I would put my rod down and pick up my fly pole if I had some flies like that [:p].
Could I purchase flies like the ones posted or is that a custom jobby?

I found the paternal in a fly tying journal from the 90’s. Then tied them myself.

Those are some sexy legs …on that frog[sly]you truely are a goddess ,I appreciate that, snicerely yours Paulpro…the early bird gets the worm, that way he does’nt have to stop for bait.. I feel like skinning a mouse,I wonder if they have mouse fur at bass pro?[angelic]
