One boat is all I need. I actually sold two boats after I bought this one, a 17ft. Tracker that I have seen on Willard and a 12 ft. Smoker Craft. Have several float tubes that just hang in the storage shed. As far as lakes to put it on I have had mine on most of the walleye waters in Utah even some that use to have a some eyes such as Mona and Cutler.
You can’t get to know a lake when it’s that low. You have to have lived here when it was higher or put around at trolling speed which I don’t have time for when there are a handful of lakes which you don’t need to deal with the low water. I was going about 10 mph when I saw the motor wasn’t pissing water out. As I was shutting it down it did it by itself. Went to trolling speed by itself. Started pissing water again, I probably really didn’t have to replace the impeller but I noticed it was a slower stream then it should be so I did it anyways. I have no idea if it was mud, weeds, or ? that I sucked into the motor but it was something. Either way, there are a lot of lakes in UT that I will fish which aren’t that shallow. I am hopeful they fill that sucker up because I love chasing walleye and wipers are a blast to catch.
Like it has been said, it is best to know the lake GPS helps, I have hit the bottom one time there last year and I fish it 2-3 times a week when I can, the best way to learn would be to meet someone out there, and I would be happy to help you, I do not claim to know it all but I do fairly well there, I also troll alot at different speeds depending on the time of year and what I am wanting to hit the hook.
