Anyone having a problem with the site

Vicki, did you see this question:
When are we going to get an App so we can ditch the web browser?!?

Vicki,
Are they making any progress in fixing the issue? I am struggling to send PM messages (using Firefox) because I can’t reach the “Send” button without a scroll bar.

Kent, I got a PM from her late last night saying there is going to be a system reboot tonight, around 2 or 3am. The site will be down for a couple of hours during that time. She ask me to wait to make the announcement until she confirms it with the IT folks but as soon as she lets me know I’ll make a post about it. Sorry, this will not help you now but if all goes well, I hope things will be working better tomorrow by this time.

Well-- as soon as we switch over to the new server and we are up and running next week (May 29th), which they say may solve some of the issue such as the freezing up issue and the not being able to get to the scroll bar. After we get through that I will look into what it would take to get an APP… [:)]

I use Firefox and I have a hard time scrolling. No scroll bar much of the time. Have to reload page a lot!!!
Annoying!!!

Curt, had noticed this post several days ago, but had not opened it . I see today there are many members with same issue I have been just dealing with. No scroll bar on initial; site opening, refresh a couple times and then it works. System freezes sometimes in the middle of a reply or a longer post. Refresh doesn’t work for me in those cases, everything is lost and have to start over.
So I’m just adding my 2 cents to the thread. I use Chrome.

I use Chrome for just about everything EXCEPT BFT. I use IE for BFT because it allows much easier FONT control (font, size, style, and color). It has never demonstrated any of the issues all y’all are having with Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. The ONLY thing I don’t like about using IE is the fact that pictures always show up laid on their side. All the other browsers seem to orientate them right side up. Until I can get FONT control in the other browsers, I’ll continue to use trouble free IE. Hope all y’all are having a GREAT Memorial day weekend. I am; from the comfort and safety of my home. [;)]

Ditto what Tin Can said. I see no improvement in the past couple of weeks??

I was using IE for the first several years on BFT for that same reason, better font, color, and loading photos as in-line loads. Never had the problem of them going sideways though. But in last year, IE hasn’t worked as well and I figured it was because I’m still using Windows 7. (Windows 8 was a MS mistake, and I am forced to use Windows 10 at work, and I hate it also) When I first started using Chrome on BFT, it worked fine, with the exception of limited choice for font size, color, in-line photos. But the scroll bar issue is fairly new and I thought it was just my old software.

I use IE, some days it works and other days it doesn’t. I have to refresh as many ans 4 times to get the scroll bar to display and work.

Two more days before the system server is replaced, hopefully this issue will be fixed then.
