OK, moving on from just spinning gear, I got an ice fishing pole and a little equipment for Christmas along with a fly rod. I want to use one on Wednesday. Kind of wanting to do the fly rod more, but still open to hard water. Anyone in the Boise area (that has the patience for a beginner) want to head out somewhere?

if you wanna come down to twin i’d go ice fishing with ya. right now its cold enough your fly line will freeze in the guides and makes fishing really tough
