heres a good one for ya, how do you like those new express way exits with 5 min red lights, un lit intersections, confusing lains… In the past month I have seen no less than three cars comming down the rong ramp at the wixom road 696 east bound exit… [pirate] one was right in front of me as I was getting off there [crazy][:/]
then there is the rual donut turnarounds… where every body thinks they have the right of way…[pirate]
i still have a little bit of hope that with the old admministration out and the new one in that a little common sense will prevail..it might just be a dream..but well see..i still frustrated but aint giving up yet..
How’s this for a job .
40 hrs. a week plus overtime , work whatever hours you want whenever you want and get full government benifit package . There is even a fully loaded 4x4 truck loaded with all the gas you can burn at your disposal to use at your leisure .
lots of hunting and fishing during your undercover investigating .
Sounds like a cool job i’de like to have but then again i’de be stuck working on nov.15th. , nope , I couldn’t handle that .
i applyed for that job once along time ago..18’000 a year..3 counys to cover …and everybody in those 3 countys hates you..doesnt sound like a job any sane person would take..

i was checking it out last nite..they have ten openings for a dnr officer..no exsperience neccesarry apply on line take there pysical and apptitude test and youll be on the list..14.50 to 24 dollors an hour to start..

You have to take a state police entrance exam to get the job.
I did apply for one of the possisitions a number of years ago, tho they say no experience nessisary, they are taking people who are already in the state law inforcement over those who are just entering…
when you go for the exam, they will drop that boot once you are in the door, I had to go down to detroit for my exam, Parking is a pain, so be sure to get there extra early so you can get in to the parking lot before it fills up, otherwise you will have to keep running out the door every hour to drop another quarter in the meter…
aside from basic math and english, the memory portion of the test was the most critical part…
who said I was sain, When I first looked in to the job, it was only paying 6000 per year… and at that time, the dnr had real athorita, they were in fact a state police officer in addition to being a concervation officer…
I did pass the exam,
and was offered a possition at Jackson State Pen, “womans prission” till I had put in my time to get the CO job..
I had some reservations to thought of my being a single male and becoming a fishing worm. I could only forsee potential problems…
what ever it was, my 6th sence was right on target on this one, Just a few months after my turning down the oppertunity six guards died in a riot there…
but then again who knows for sure, maybe if I had have been threre the riot may not have happened in the first place… But hey, a man cant go through life wondering what could have been if-n I would have…[crazy]
I do know for shure if I did I would never met you guys on line or otherwise, cuz I know none of you would ever get in to poaching…

Hi guys my first post here. I my son, and three friends went to a little lake up in Onterio named Dosier lake. As a group we only caught 9 brookies in three days, but 3 were better than 14" and one was 15". A lot of walking carrying canoes, and crossing two other lakes to get there. Worth every drop of sweat and sore muscle
brookies are the only trout worth breaking a sweat over the others are just there to play with when you cant chase brookies..ive been chasin up north for the past two weekends cought 12 total,need to stay home a rest this weekend..
Did that myself with my dad back in the late 60’s , 68 in fact ,I remember the new ford alvacado colered station wagon we just got .
