fishing goals this year(if i can find a freaking job instate)

break the 10ft mark with a sturgeon (ive done 8.10 but want to go bigger)
catch a walleye
catch a catfish that i can cook for dinner
take out at least 3 new people and introduce them to sturgeon fishing

ps anyone who wants to sturgeon fish I would love to take you out i am always looking for new fishing buddys

Ill take you up on that!! and ill even pay for gas!

my only 2 goals this year for ID are… fish the south fork, and then fish the salmon

I’m in on your Sturgeon goal as well.[;)] Of course Kentofnsl has offered to take me many times and something always comes up when our paths are supposed to cross. Heres hoping to this year.

I don’t expect to achieve ALL these goals…but I’m sure gonna try!!!

  1. Catch a sturgeon
  2. Catch a steelhead over 34" (got a 31" last spring)
  3. Catch a salmon from the salmon river
  4. Catch a carp on the fly over 25 lbs
  5. Catch a spawning kokanee over 14"

and most IMPORTANTLY:
6. Outfish ChrisTheFish at least twice :sunglasses:

Nuggets of wisdom about sturgeon would be GREATLY appreciated. Perhaps a forum organized trip for sturgeon would be neat…lots of people wanna give it a whirl!

i had one more, but i dont know how true it will come or ow easy ti would be… try to fish at least one time with Devfly (or is it Devflyfish?) either way, the forum member on here thats part of the US Fly Fishing team, if he would grace me with his presence :sunglasses:
