I have also heard both good n not so good about the Newer Newells.
I don’t have first hand experience with them & would like to hear from some that have…
I know they do have a following…folks that use them a Lot.
I have seen guys on my boat cast tricked out senators pretty far with weights lighter than you mentioned so I might say `Yes to that one.
If anyone knows better, please let us know, as I’m looking at them myself, I think the Penn’s have more line capacity & know their drags can handle.
