I have always scanned over the ads in sports magazines for guided hunting or fishing trips with the attitude of “Yeah, right! That sure would be nice if I hit the jackpot and had the money.” I never allowed myself to seriously dream of the possibility. But, in July of this year, I had the privilege of joining eight other men I had never seen before for seven of the best days of my life! We went Walleye and Northern Pike fishing in the Boundary Waters Area, and evrything was perfect: the weather, the food, the fishing, the company. And I had the fun of catching the second largest fish: a thirty-five and three-quarter inch Pike.
I had so much fun at such an unbelievably low cost that I am going again next year and taking five of my best friends and my son. Hey, even the poor little man hits it right every now and then!! Thank You, Lord!!
