I was a a sports show and one of the items I was liiking for was a number 5 hook.
no one seemed to have any, finaly I came across an o’l timer who told me that they dont make #5 hooks. I had to differ with him on the grounds that I have some in my box. for the longest time these were my favorite hook for bass.
the o’l timer the said that they dont make them in the US and they dont make them any more.
my reply to that was what you mean is what i have in my box is an anteque, and his reply was yes.
My question to any one reading is, is it true that they dont make #5 hooks?
ant sure what style yo lookn fur daveTclown,butt yesterD i was N BPS N Orlando n piced up sum Gamakatsu offset shank werm hooks,their #5…bought them 4 my Fin-S jerk baits made by Lunker City…Bsafe!..
Gamakatsu tackle co. also makes the #5 hook in salmon steelheed, octopus, and baitholder, and are available throughout the USA at your local tackle dealer.
