Yes it is sort of shameful to post fish that size, but eh, oh well.
Jeff, I’m no expert either. Certain it’s not a shad, fairly confident it’s a spottail shiner.
Thanks guys I didn’t mean to cause any issues, I was really just curious… I haven’t caught an actual shiner before, but caught fatheads that I called shiners… good to know what they look like and better to know it’s not a shad, so if I get some I’ll keep them for bait.. when I seen the dot, I thought it might be shad (are shad more flat bodied and less torpedo shaped?)… Thanks Jeff
