So I think it would be a lot of fun 4 Fisher people of all ages to be able to have a little competition in the pan fish varieties I was thinking 4 different classes for Crappie, perch, bluegill and pumpkin seed. It could be judged similar to the ice fish contest with the bft logo on your hog trough. It could run all year. it just seems like a fun idea and it's always great to see other people's great catches and there are some fantastic panfish in Idaho it could be strictly for fun or maybe a $5 entry and a charity and trophy prize just wondering if there are any interested people and maybe other ideas.? ?

i'm in no doubt.... these are all I catch, reason I do not normally do the ice fishing contest.... I have no interest in catching anything except perch, crappie, bluegills....

My only suggestion would be to limit the number of entrants. If it's unlimited entry, judging could become a night mare. Count me in for the contest, but out for judging.

How does an entry limit of 15 people sound? And still including kids with these 15 members to help them with entries, yeah a nightmare for judging does not sound fun, the weather looks to be turning for the good, it would be nice to get this thing started for the weekend.

Okay well I'm not sure how much interest this contest will have. Does 30 sound good? what do you suggest? I can rework the rules card tonight

I would think 30 would be okay to manage. I doubt you'd get 30 interested anyway. Better check the regs and make sure its legal too.

I just check the regulations and it would appear that more than 20 people requires a permit. At least that's how I read it.

One question. Does the logo have to be in the picture?
