Devils Creek derby

Well the derby is over was kinda slow all day long. A 27 1/4 inch rainbow was caught and won it. I placed third with a 20 incher and won a new auger. Ice is 12 inches thick with 10 inches of snow and 4 inches of slush under the snow.

Congratulations on 3rd place, nice looking auger too. Wow, a 27" Bow came out of Devils Creek, I wonder how old that fish was, I bet it had been in there for a lot of years. That is a lot of snow and slush on the ice. Did they plow the parking area before the derby? If not, it must have been a mess trying to get a bunch of contestants in there.

They had the parking lot plowed and the slush was bad. Lot of atvs got stuck in the ice but were able to be pulled out.
